Video-rama

The turnaround on these videos is nothing short of astounding. They were sent in by Don and Ange weeks ago and I have been sitting on them ever since.

The first is another Amex advertisement, this time from Wes Anderson, director of Rushmore and The Royal Tennenbaums. He's an acquired taste but if you do "get him" you'll love the ad.

The next one is a trailer remix of Kubrick's The Shining. I wouldn't usually post a remix like this but this one is so well done and it really demonstrates how film promoters hold sway when it comes to manipulating how people will approach a film.

I thoroughly recommend you check out P.S. 260 for some of their other work (hunt out Blue Velvet as a romantic comedy and The Fast and the Furious as a gay drama, there is also a Death Cab video over there). It is a brilliant, slickly designed site.

Finally, check out this ace little dance comedy stand-up routine. Ah, the memories...
